Creative Workshops – partner organisation workshops 2020

As part of each of our annual THAT network exhibition at the Art Pavilion, we coordinate a programme of workshops working on a wide range of themes, ideas and experiment with new ways of exploring art. Our partner organisations and artist educators plan and deliver the bespoke workshops to a range of young people from our schools across Tower Hamlets. Our aim is to give young people the opportunity to explore art ideas and making outside of the school setting.

Our Visual Thinking 2020 exhibition at the Art Pavilion Mile End, included a programme of 14 workshops, which our partner schools engaged with.

Our workshop programme included the following providers:
Royal Drawing School – The Point workshops
RIBA – Designing for a post apocalyptic London workshop
Whitechapel Gallery – Jake Garfield Philosophy and Art printmaking workshops
THAMES – Judy Grahame KS2 workshops
London Metropolitan School of Art, Architecture and Design – Architecture and Structures workshops
Bow Arts – 2D and 3D visual thinking through making workshop
University of the Arts – Central Saint Martins – Body Drawings Workshops
