London Metropolitan University school of Art, Architecture and Design – Architecture and Structures workshop 4th March 2020

Students from St Paul’s Way Trust School and Central Foundation Girls’ School attended an architecture workshop at the Art Pavilion organised by architecture tutors from the London Metropolitan School of Art, Architecture and Design. Students were given a short brief and worked on design structure and solutions to create a series of architecture models with help from the architecture tutors using a range of simple materials.

The briefs that students worked on in teams to design and build were:

Tallest and Longest models possible – they used testing and learnt a range of skills by building models in small groups. Makings Spaces through quick model-making techniques to design and make buildings out of paper.
