THAMES ‘Learning across the curriculum – exploring connections between Art and Maths’ KS2 workshop 3rd March 2020

‘Learning across the curriculum – exploring connections between Art and Maths’

Artist tutor: Judy Grahame

The KS2 workshops took place at the Art Pavilion as part of the Visual Thinking exhibition.

Students were introduced to simple and effective drawing processes working with simple materials – principally paper, pencils, pens and card.

Students worked collaboratively and created their own sketchbooks exploring a range of quick and easy confidence-building drawing ‘games’ on a large and small scale, with a little cutting, tearing and collage thrown in.

The following primary schools participated:

St Saviour’s Primary School – Year 4

St Mary & St Michael’s Primary School – Year 5

Bigland Green Primary School – Year 5

St Paul’s Way Foundation Primary School – Year 5

Mayflower Primary School – Year 5
